Special Recognition
   Hedrick Family
The launching of Overlook in 1965 was a family affair for Rev. Roy,  Ruth, Nancy, Wilma, Wanda, and Paul Hedrick.
Each summer week, the family would help prepare food, clean buildings, wash linens and be sure everything was ready for the 100 campers. All this in addition to serving full time at Mt.Clinton church.
"We are convinced that without the love and sacrifice of this family, Overlook may not have become a reality."

Bill & Jack Robey have been supportive of Overlook Retreat & Camp Ministries in many ways for the past 35 years... wood cutting, mailing teams, lodge construction, and more.  But their favorite way to be supportive was through the Tri-District UMM Golf Tournament! Father & Son are now on a heavenly course!
Carroll D Fauber was one of the dedicated workers from Cherryvale UMC who helped to plant thousands of seedlings in the 60's to transition Overlook from a farm to the beautiful setting it is today.
