Our Spring Volunteer Day is May 13 at 8 AM!
We need your help to prepare for our summer campers and retreat guests. May 13th our site will be hosting a day for the Overlook community to come out and help with our work projects. Please view the information below.
Information
1) Our workday will be from 8 AM to 4 PM. You are not expected to stay the whole day. We would love your help for any amount of time!
2) Lunch will be served at 12 PM. Please click here to reserve your meal no later than May 10th.
3) BE SAFE while working. Watch for falling limbs and debris during chainsaw work. Wear protective gear; be cautious; help each other; drive slowly. Climb ladders only with spotters; be safe and don't overreach; only adults (age 18 +) on ladders, only adults use power tools.

Supplies You Can Bring
We will have some supplies but encourage you to bring what you have so more people can be working at the same time.
- Rakes - Drag Tarps - Latters
- Blowers - Chainsaws - Gloves
- Wood Splitters - Safety Gear - Garden & Landscaping Gear
- Vacuums - Flatbed Truck (4x4) - Power-Washer
- Tools (construction, repair, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Cleaning Gear & chemicals, brooms, mops, rags
General Workday projects (rain or shine; indoor and outdoor) for all skill levels and all ages, include:
- Block, haul, split, stack firewood
- Construction touch-ups & carpentry projects
- Cleaning chapel, Ritchie, cabins, picnic shelter, & bathhouses
- Clearing roofs, gutters, downspouts.
- Painting
- Leaves: rake-drag-dispose
- Clearing trails
- Flower beds/landscaping
- Footbridge maintenance to the falls
- Power-washing buildings
- ... and much more.
Don't forget to RSPV for free lunch!
